尋求衛冕的詹詠然與對岸搭檔鄭潔，昨於英國伊斯特本女網雙打賽首盤錯過4個盤末點，最終以6比7（5比7）、2比6不敵法國賈希雅╱斯洛維尼亞史瑞波妮克，屈居亞軍。詹詠然得知國內八仙水上樂園發生粉塵爆炸，造成不少人受傷後立即在臉書上表達關切之意，並且為燒傷民眾祈福。
拜對手因傷棄賽兵不血刃闖進決賽的詹詠然╱鄭潔，此役首盤兩組人馬展開互破大賽，「詠潔配」取得5比4領先局面，可惜不但浪費了4個盤末點，而且還遭到破發。比賽來到搶7局，詹╱鄭再次握有5比2優勢，無奈連丟5分，反以5比7丟掉首盤。
次盤詹詠然╱鄭潔氣力放盡，分別在第3和第7局被賈希雅╱史瑞波妮克攻破城池，最終以2比6俯首稱臣。
詹詠然去年與妹妹皓晴在此地攜手奪冠，今年兩姊妹各自尋找搭檔。詹詠然決定和好友鄭潔攜手合作，先前已在諾丁罕與伯明罕兩場比賽殺進4強；此次雖沒能如願摘冠，但連續3周在草地賽都有出色表現，也讓今日開打的四大賽之一溫布頓女雙第13種子組合有著更高度的期待。
